Children & fairies...

The children have been thinking about fairies a lot this week, Lucy's wobbly teeth are getting wobblier by the day, so I finally got round to adapting Molly Chicken's super cute hedgehog pattern, into a tooth fairy pillow...

...complete with a bell inside so Lucy can ring for the fairy when the time comes!

Poor Luke has not been quite so fortunate, and has had a visit from the mean old dummy fairy (pacifier if you are american).  He has gone complete cold turkey on it, 5 days so far, and so far, so good!

I, however, keep getting visits from the rain fairy, she arrives the second I venture out the back door with a basket full of wet washing, she's a really mean fairy that one!

very cute. My 12 yo son is about to have 8 teeth extracted over 2 sessions... a little old for one of these, though.

I made some toothfairy pillows from that pattern but yours is way better! I love the idea of a bell!

i recently made a rattle toy for a friend of mine, i was very impressed with my self as it was my first attempt at anything so major. i put lots of jingly bells inside and it made the nicest noise. i posted a pic on my blog if you want a peek ;0) great job as usual, i dream of being half as good as you. xx ro

Adorable! What a great idea. I saw the hedgehog, but didn't think about a tooth pillow. And the fairy wings are great.

your work is stunning and very inspiring. i just had to say thank you, as I have now completed 2 projects inspired by your work :) one being a tooth fairy, though not nearly as pretty at yours.

She is the perfect thing. We are a couple of years from loose teeth at our house, but I think I'll have to make a couple now--so I don't forget. So cute! Thank you for the idea. Also, cannot believe I just found you today. I'll be visiting again.
