Sewing class...

I'm teaching a sewing class!  My first one, very exciting.

Sew a Baby Barn Owl

Saturday 18th June 2011, 10am - 1pm

at Catmose College here in Oakham, Rutland, UK

The college are supplying sewing machines, I'm supplying most of the materials (and of course the expert tuition!), all that's needed is a basic sewing kit, pins etc.

There are more details here and also the contact details to book a place.

Can you hear my echo of carefreestamper all the way over in the UK?!!! Amy, I'd take your class in a New York minute or even a California minute. Have a great time with your class and share with us some fun details please. Love all your creations and your book.

I am looking for a nice modern pattern for a summer dress. I have had a quick look on the net but everything that’s coming up seems to be quite old fashioned, surely someone must make modern sewing patterns.

Hi Kate. I've just spotted your lovely baby Owl on Pintrest. I wondered if you would be kind enough to let me know where you got the pattern? I'm reading "The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark" to my friends 3 year old and would love to make this for her to have as we read.

Thank you for your time. Julie M
