You may be forgiven for thinking...

...that this is one of my usual owls,

and at first glance, I suppose it is.  But look closer,

here's a clue, there it is in front of one of my usual owls.  It's half size, teeny tiny!.  I really like working small, and wondered if it was possible to do baby owls, so gave it a go!.

I am in the middle of a (late) spring clean, so am making the most of there being no children in the house so I can go through the toys and cull all the broken things without causing too much upset, wish me luck!

Gorgeous owls! I have to do the 'cull' when the smalls are out too - otherwise nothing would go, would it? :-O x

Oooh, owl babies, how wonderful! A few months ago I was inspired by your owls and made an owl for my daughter with a pocket on it's belly. She insisted that it had to have babies. So I made two felt owl babies that fit into the pocket. She was thrilled!

You certainly have a way with owls (which of course implies you're very wise!).
It's just a joy to see the new things that you're constantly coming up with - very inspiring! As for the Spring cleaning - be bold, be ruthless.

Love the tiny owl - very cute. Good luck with the toy cull - I've still got boxes of toys in the garage that need clearing and my youngest is fifteen!

lovely little owl baby... I suppose I will have to do some toy culling soon, I'm pretty sure the broken ones breed faster than the non-broken

The baby owl is as cute as a button. I love working small too, somehow it makes everything so much more sweeter and loveable.
