more nice things...

I love Pinterest.  It's the kind of website I'd like to climb into and live.  It's just so full of nice things.  Here are some of the best I've stumbled upon lately,

chore magnets (I'd need them in UK pounds though!)

perhaps a tooth fairy letter? (good grief I wish I'd known about this last week when at 1am I found a questionaire under Luke's pillow for the tooth fairy when he lost his first tooth!)  Actually, I've just bought this set for him for christmas, he has a thing about giving me notes on tiny pieces of paper.

Yum, can't find a direct link to this recipe, what are they?, muffins with the middle scooped out maybe?

more yum, lasagne cups,

and I think I may just be in heaven, creme brulee fudge.  That's a sugar thermometer going on my christmas list then!

I think the egg/bacon ones are made by fitting a slice of bread into the muffin mould and then filling with egg etc :)

My tho't on the eggs and bacon - looks like one of my quiche type recipes- my crust is like the one found here http://www.peterandrewryan.com/baking/2008/11/bacon-and-leek-mini-quiches/
I do believe the fudge is on my list of things to do this weekend! Yum!

I agree with Erin, I think the bacon and egg muffiny things are just lined with bread with bacon and a couple eggs cracked in. Then you bake them until the eggs are set. Or maybe you blind bake the bread first, not sure but I'll bet there are a million recipes out there once you know what you're looking for!

That mini-writing set is gorgeous, but I think my daughter might twig if her tooth fairy suddenly started leaving notes!

I made the egg and bacon muffin-ish thing for my family on christmas morning! It was a huge hit, I used bisquick mix from the store. So really just a biscuit in the bottom. Super tasty! And, I love love love the chore buttons. I don't have children but if I did, I would totally use that idea!

Oooh, those bacon & egg muffins look yummy! I just looked them up on Google Images and www.fifteenspatulas.com has a nice recipe that matches with Erin's description. Here it is:

Of course, fifteenspatulas looks dangerously good!
