I love your embroidery! Those little flowers are BEAUTIFUL.

As for me, I don't embroider much but I do like french knots and I use a blanket stitch a lot....does that count ? :-)

My aunt used to embroider a lot, but I had so much trouble getting a french knot to look nice. Yours are beautiful!

Lovely work! My grandmother used to embroider on crazy quilts she would make. I never met her as she passed years before I came along...but have seen her work and loved it...I believe she used all sorts of stitch designs..the feather stitch is one of my favorites.

We used to do embroidery at school and make tray/table cloths and I used to like lazy-daisy. I still have trouble with satin-stitch and would like to learn stem-stitch. I also like the French knots and aren't bullion knots the same?

I keep trying french knots and they dont work - I must be doing something wrong somewhere - I like running stitch !! LOL

I have been known to use the occasional blanket stitch - I have a vintage book with loads of different stitches in and its one of my resolutions to try to learn some.

Well done you !!

I love your embroidery - but I have yet to fall in love with the art myself - I'm too impatient! I probably use blanket stitch the most ...

I would never have guessed a clock ... can't wait to see that!

I love feather stitch. It makes great leaves.

Looks beautiful! I am not much of an embroider myself, but I make some humble attempts at french knot, use blanket stitch whenever I can and only dream of getting good at satin stitch...

Would you laugh if I admitted I'm a bit scared of french knots? *blush* I love blanket stitch and use it on all my appliqués.

Gorgeous Flower! I love the colonial knot, it was the first knot I learnt and I was lucky to have a good teacher, my mum :-)

I love blanket stitch, the knobbliness of french knots and herringbone.

Grogeous colours you've mixed together there. Very pretty.

What cute little flowers. I know a lot of people don't like French knots but I love them especially when there is a bunch of them really close to each other.

I love french knots too, in fact any stitch that has textural qualities that I can feel with my fingertips as I go along. I did a yarrow on a wool blanket with just french knots and I couldn't stop touching it! I also like padded satin stitch, although I'm not very good at it. I love your flowers above, gorgeous!
